Precast Building Solutions, LLC organized under the laws of the State of Louisiana in 2006 as a limited liability company, is the first (and only) firm to design, build, market and sell new and replacement houses on the Gulf Coast, constructed exclusively of reinforced aerated lightweight architectural precast concrete panels, custom fabricated in our concrete plant, trucked to various house lots and erected by Precast Building Solutions on-site.

Brian Opert, Chief Executive Officer and Company founder, oversees all Company operations. In addition to his most recent activities in the precast concrete business noted above, he has been active as a commercial real estate developer and property owner, and as a senior executive handling commercial leasing, sales and commercial property management and as a principal responsible for commercial development and construction W. J. Barney Construction Company, Inc. of New York, the 25th largest commercial builder in the nation. Opert also owns and operates a nationwide commercial mortgage financing business. Opert has been a licensed real estate broker and certified property manager for over 30 years.

Early in his career, Opert was appointed by the Governor as the Director of Low Rent Housing Programs for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and was a member of the senior staff of the Boston Housing Authority.

Opert earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut, and his Master's degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and Community Planning. Opert's college career began at the mechanical engineering school at the University of Connecticut.

Opert has been a faculty member at the University of Massachusetts, The Boston Architectural Center, Boston College, an adjunct instructor with ITT Technical Institute in New Orleans, and also a Design Jury Member with Harvard University's Graduate School of Design.

Features for Home Buyers
With the precast panels fabricated in our environmentally controlled concrete plant, the features of the construction are as follows:

- A house can be completed within 2 months or less, including interior partitions, complete baths and kitchens and all appliances, furnished with 2 bedrooms, living and dining room, fully turnkey.
- All natural materials are used, including cement, sand, stone and water - no glues, fumes or other volatile compounds.
- Houses meet or exceed all local, state and national construction codes, fire codes and foundation engineering requirements.

Features for Builders
Precast will engineer, fabricate, ship and erect virtually any building envelope of almost any design, which will include all perimeter walls, and may include the floor and ceiling at builder's option. We can also fabricate, deliver and erect the interior walls, all of precast concrete. All electrical conduit and junction boxes, saving hours of expensive tradesmen time. The Builder can then finish the remainder of the structure.
